YMCA Nelson

Our main base of operations is located in Victory Square, Nelson. It includes administration facilities, education classrooms, sports hall and a new state of the art Early Childhood Education Centre.

Ykids Early Childhood Education Centre is a community based not for profit early childhood centre situated at 183 St Vincent Street, Nelson.

Our highly qualified teaching staff aim to provide an enriching, open, loving, learning environment for your child.

YMCA Nelson is one of the main providers of OSCAR after-school and holiday programmes in the Nelson Bays region.

We provide quality care for 5-13 year olds with well trained and dedicated staff facilitating the After School or Holiday Programmes.

 

We offer a range of youth programmes & Initiatives.

Our aim is to support young people to take personal ownership and leadership and to foster a sense of pride and respect for themselves and the communities in which they live.

YMCA Nelson currently delivers a range of free national certificate qualifications for youth and adults, through our Pathways, Directions and Horizons programmes.
